Our Beeswax

Nothing from our beehives goes to waste! Excess comb scraped from the hives and wax cappings from honey frames are all rendered (cleaned) and made into 100% beeswax candles. Since most of the wax we use is virgin comb, our raw beeswax is a pale yellow color with a light, sweet scent. However, color variations do occur depending on the amount of older comb mixed in. Brood comb is kept separate and never used to make candles.

Beeswax burns very cleanly, and does not release impurities into the air. The flame of a beeswax candle is warm toned, similar to sunlight, so we recommend relaxing with a beeswax candle after a long day of looking at screens. Even though our candles are small, they burn slowly and last for several hours! Always exercise caution and never leave a lit candle unattended.
